rides2rent.com is a platform that facilitates car and other vehicle rentals between private individuals (Partners/renters) and renters/users. We want to emphasize that rides2rent.com, its affiliates, and branches do not assume any responsibility for the rental of cars or other vehicles, financial transactions, or legal matters between Partners and renters/users on our platform. rides2rent serves solely as a platform connecting vehicle owners, renters, users, and partners for rental purposes. We facilitate the connection between users but do not take responsibility for any legal issues that may arise from these transactions. Users are encouraged to familiarize themselves with their legal rights and responsibilities when using our platform. To advertise a car or a other vehicle on rides2rent.com, both the Partners/renters and the users must acknowledge and accept the following:
Independent Transactions: rides2rent.com merely provides a platform for Partners to list their vehicles and for renters to find and book those vehicles. Any transaction, including but not limited to payments, rental agreements, and disputes, is solely the responsibility of the Partner and the renter involved in the transaction.
Terms of Rental and Conditions: Partners/renters and user must establish the terms and conditions for each rental, encompassing aspects such as pricing, rental duration, pickup and drop-off locations, and any specific rules or requirements. Clear and open communication between both parties is crucial to ensure mutual agreement on these terms prior to finalizing a rental. The responsibility for the rental contract lies with the renter/partner and user, who must ensure it is appropriately managed between themselves and the vehicle user. Additionally, any deposit/security payments should be handled directly between the renters/partners and the users.
Please note that rides2rent holds no liability for these contracts. rides2rent solely provides a platform to connect renters/partners with users and is not involved in the rental agreements or transactions.
Financial Transactions: rides2rent.com may charge a commission fee of 15% and more for facilitating rental transactions on our platform and cover Stripe and other costs for completed transactions and build the platform and admin. This commission may be applied to both the Partner and the renter, depending on the terms agreed upon by all parties involved in the rental transaction. The specific commission details will be outlined during the booking process and in our Terms of Service.
Payout Conditions: Rental earnings are disbursed to the owner no sooner than 15 days after the end of the rental period, plus additional processing time for any claims. This timeframe allows rides2rent to efficiently handle any issues or damage claims, ensuring a satisfactory experience for both parties. To receive payouts, renters/partners must provide a valid bank account. All necessary information must be submitted to the platform within 5 working days after signup. rides2rent is not responsible for any losses incurred if bank details and other required information are not provided to rides2rent within this timeframe, and any earnings during this period and after may be lost.
Legal Compliance: Partners and renters are responsible for ensuring that all legal requirements, such as insurance, registration, and driver's licenses, are met when participating in car rentals. rides2rent.com does not verify or enforce legal compliance but encourages all users to adhere to local laws and regulations.
Safety and Insurance: While we encourage safety best practices and responsible car sharing, rides2rent.com does not provide insurance coverage for rental vehicles. It is the sole responsibility of the Partner to ensure their vehicle is adequately insured for rental purposes.
Dispute Resolution: In the event of disputes or issues arising from a rental transaction, rides2rent.com does not mediate or arbitrate disputes. We recommend that both Partners and renters attempt to resolve any conflicts amicably and in accordance with applicable laws.
We want to emphasize the importance of conducting due diligence and exercising caution when renting or listing a car on our platform. rides2rent.com is a platform that connects individuals for car/vehicle-sharing purposes, but it does not oversee or manage the details of each transaction.
